Evening Primrose oil makes a perfect moisturiser to nourish and moisturise even the most sensitive skin.

Evening Primrose is a very common plant that happens to be one of the most potent herbs. The flower opens in the evening, when the silence of the sunset spreads across the fields and meadows.

The oil is cold pressed from seeds of Evening Primrose. Evening Primrose oil is incredibly rich in linoleic acid ( 74%), a compound that restores skin barrier. It is also very rich in vitamin E, nature’s best antioxidant and moisturiser, and omega-6, a fatty acid that helps retain moisture in the skin. The oil works well with hormonal-looking skin.

Evening Primrose Oil is non comedogenic and is recommended for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin.

At The Witchery CPH they do not use base oils, their oils are made from what is written on the bottle. In this case, a freshly made Evening Primrose Oil.

Apply to clean skin after using a tonic/ hydrosol. You can skip the moisturiser, and only use the oil. In fact, most of The Witchery CPS customers do that. If you like your moisturiser, use the oil before you apply your moisturiser.

We recommend you do a little face massage whilst applying the oil.

Oenothera Biennis Oil

Origin: the EU. European seeds, sustainable, fresh oil.
