This warm, slightly stringent, herbaceous essence is one of the most practical and potent plant oils you will ever meet. The Latin word thymos means "to perfume" — and ancient Greeks used the word thymiatechny to describe the art of using perfumes as therapy.

A perennial favorite of the perfume industry and a magician in skin serums, Thyme has a history of helping people recover emotionally after a decline in wellness. Uplifting, energizing, and deeply cleansing, it blends beautifully with Oregano, Lavender, Frankincense, Immortelle, Bergamot, Rose Otto, and Spikenard.

Skin: Dilute to use as a skin serum or cleanser. For a neat-treat when strength is needed, dilute to 5% with Lavender.

Diffusion: Diffuse to deodorize the air and uplift the mind. Effective in a salt pipe, best combined with Ravensara, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Lavender, Frankincense, or Marjoram.
